On 14th January, Browne’s proudly celebrated National Scaffolders’ Day, a day dedicated to recognising the people who quite literally keep the industry standing. While scaffolding is often described as “temporary works”, the contribution made by scaffolders is anything but temporary, playing a vital role in safety, productivity, and progress on sites of every scale.
Scaffolders were recognised as highly skilled tradespeople, experts in safe access and working at height, and problem-solvers operating in constantly changing environments. Often the first to arrive on site and the last to leave, scaffolders are key champions of safety culture and compliance across the construction and infrastructure sectors.
From complex industrial builds and major infrastructure projects to events, marine environments and specialist access works, scaffolders enable every other trade to carry out their work safely and efficiently, frequently in demanding conditions, at height and under pressure.
At Browne’s, we took the opportunity to recognise and thank our scaffolding teams across the UK and Europe. Their professionalism, resilience, teamwork and commitment to doing the job right never goes unnoticed.
On National Scaffolders’ Day, SuperScaff proudly saluted every scaffolder, trainee, supervisor and inspector, thanking them for the early starts, cold and rainy days, precision, pride and unwavering focus on safety.
Today, tomorrow – every day.
