Innovation
We learn, We adapt, We improve
At Browne’s, innovation means progress with purpose. By investing in new technologies, materials and training, we continue to transform how scaffolding and temporary works are delivered. Whether it’s our lightweight, load-bearing Safety Access Panel or our adaptable xML Platform for data centres, every innovation reflects our commitment to precision and continuous improvement.
Browne’s Safety Access Panel (SAP) System
The Browne’s Safety Access Panel System has been conceived, designed, and developed to provide emergency rescue teams with faster, safer access in industrial environments where scaffolding is in place. Traditional solutions, such as loose boards or ladder gates, were functional but not ideal in critical rescue situations. Browne’s new panel system offers a reliable, engineered alternative.

Browne’s xML Platform Solutions
Two Advanced Access Systems Built for DataCentre Challenges
Data centres demand a level of precision, coordination and uptime that most construction environments simply don’t face. Multiple trades must work simultaneously in confined, high-level areas packed with cable trays, conduits, cooling lines and critical infrastructure. All whilst maintaining absolute safety, minimising downtime and preventing congestion. The current system of using Mobile Elevating Working Platforms (MEWPs) slow progress, restrict movement beneath work zones and increase risk in already pressured environments. The use of MEWPs also significantly increases the risk of damaging sensitive equipment, services and high-value infrastructure through accidental contact.
To meet these unique challenges, Browne’s has developed not one, but two specialist access systems tailored specifically for data-centre construction. Together, these systems deliver the safe, efficient and unobstructed access modern data centres demand.
Introducing our xML Platform Solutions
Solution 1: xML Suspended
Historically used on skyscrapers, bridges and towers, suspended scaffolding is not a new concept. However, Browne’s tailor-made solution is set to revolutionise how modern Datacentres are built. Our bespoke lightweight, adjustable top-down system can be adjusted vertically to suit different work heights. Secured with cables from the roof it provides safe working platforms without obstructing the space below.

Solution 2: xML Track
Our flexible, relocatable tower is engineered to glide along tracks providing multiple safe working levels wherever they are needed. The open design beneath allows other trades unrestricted movement below, improving workflow.
The xML Track system delivers huge efficiency gains during cable pulling. Enabling teams to work faster and more comfortably at height by eliminating the constant need to clip and unclip harnesses while repositioning. This revolutionary system dramatically reduces fatigue, speeds up installation and enhances overall safety.
