Creating a Safety Culture through Collaboration

Strengthening Safety Culture Through Collaboration

At Browne’s, we believe strong safety culture is built through communication, engagement and people being willing to share knowledge openly on site.

That approach was recently recognised following a health and safety presentation delivered by our team at one of Mercury’s major datacentre projects, where Browne’s continues to support complex scaffolding operations across Europe.

Following the event, Mercury Construction EHS Advisor Nicholas King thanked Browne’s for its “continued support” and for delivering “an excellent presentation” that brought real value to the workforce on site.

The hands on presentation focused on practical safety awareness and operatives engagement on and around scaffolding, helping reinforce the importance of maintaining high standards within a busy live construction environment. Delivered in an approachable and light-hearted manner, the session encouraged participation and kept teams attentive throughout.

In feedback shared after the event, Mercury highlighted Browne’s professionalism, expertise and positive attitude, recognising the contribution our team continues to make towards strengthening safety culture across the project.

The feedback:

“Your willingness to step in, share expertise and engage with our operatives truly makes a difference.

Your presentation added real value to the event, the light-hearted way you delivered it helped keep everyone attentive and involved.

We genuinely appreciate the professionalism, effort and positive attitude you bring every time you assist us.”

At Browne’s, health and safety extends far beyond compliance. Whether through toolbox talks, multilingual signage, workforce engagement or wellbeing initiatives, we continue to look for practical ways to improve communication and support the people working on our projects every day. As our European operations continue to grow through Browne’s Gerüstbau GmbH, collaborative working and positive safety leadership remain central to how we operate across every site.
