Join Browne’s – Scaffolders & Inspector Opportunities

Browne’s Scaffolding Ltd is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Scaffolders and a qualified Scaffolding Inspector to join our team.

Working from our HQ just outside Ashford, Kent, you’ll be part of a well-established, highly respected business delivering projects across the Southeast and beyond. From residential and commercial sites to complex industrial and datacentre builds, no two jobs are the same.

  • Scaffolders (Part 1, Part 2 and Advanced)
  • Qualified Scaffolding Inspector

All roles are PAYE positions. We are not currently engaging self-employed labour.

At Browne’s, we invest in the next generation through our dedicated apprenticeship programme. Plus, our 2-year scheme results in an NVQ Level 2 in Scaffolding.

What You’ll Learn

Over the course of the apprenticeship, you’ll be trained in all aspects of the scaffolding trade, including:

  • Understanding scaffolding structures and safety regulations
  • Erecting, adapting, and dismantling scaffolds safely and efficiently
  • Working in a wide range of environments: including industrial, confined spaces, and events
  • Health and safety best practices, including tool tethering and site awareness
  • Sustainable practices and materials in modern scaffolding
  • Teamwork, problem-solving, and customer service

You’ll split your time between classroom-based training (through our accredited training partners) and live projects on-site, working alongside experienced scaffolders across a variety of sectors.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. No experience is required. If you’ve got a good attitude, a strong work ethic and you’re not afraid of heights, you’ll fit right in.

You’ll need:

  • To be 18+ (or turning 18 during the scheme)
  • To enjoy working outdoors and being part of a physical, team-oriented trade
  • To be reliable, punctual, and ready to learn

We’re especially proud to support local talent, and many of our apprentices come from communities we’ve worked in for years.
