The Challenge
The UCI World Cycling Championships is one of the world’s premier cycling events, attracting thousands of spectators and global broadcast coverage. GL Events required a scaffolding partner capable of delivering complex temporary structures to exacting standards, under significant time pressure.
Our Solution
Browne’s deployed a specialist events team to Scotland, working closely with GL Events’ site management throughout the project:
- Temporary grandstand structures — tiered seating platforms for safe spectator viewing
- Broadcast and media platforms — elevated camera positions and commentary boxes for international TV
- VIP hospitality structures — bespoke scaffolding for corporate hospitality areas
- Podium and presentation stages — ceremony scaffolding for medal presentations
