Shrinkwrap

With its own specialist Shrinkwrap division, Browne’s Scaffolding can meet the most demanding and complex encapsulation projects.

Shrink Wrap encapsulation provides essential protection from the elements for both short and long-term projects, ensuring that essential time is not lost due to inclement weather. Using a special heat shrinking technique, the encapsulating material fits snugly and securely to the scaffolding tubes and will not flap nor be destroyed during high winds.

In addition to providing environmental protection, shrink wrapped scaffolding is smart and professional in appearance. Many clients find this helps to support their business brand. Browne’s Scaffolding is expert in providing scaffolding solutions that are engineered to withstand the extra wind loads that result from the shrink-wrapping process.

Shrinkwrap Projects

Shrinkwrap Sevenoaks Brownes Scaffolding

Sevenoaks Kent

We were asked to provide an access scaffold with a temporary roof covering for the building.
The scope was for the existing single storey building to have the roof removed and another storey added prior to a new roof being installed. Part of the scaffolding requirements was to make the building weather resistant during the ongoing works and therefore we encapsulated the side elevations in our shrink wrap sheeting to form a rigid enclosure of the works.

Shrinkwrap Super Yacht Brownes Scaffolding

Super Yacht

Our client required a weatherproof frame and enclosure to be built to the top deck of the Super Yacht to enable the removal and refurbishment of the deck coating.

Brownes Scaffolding Shrinkwrap Condor Ferry

Condor Ferry

We were asked to provide an access solution to the side of the side of the high-speed Ferry in the port at Cherbourg in France.
The structure comprised a run of independent scaffold with shrinkwrap sheeting added to the face of the scaffold complete with a shrinkwrap roof to fully encapsulate the work area.
